• GifCities - vintage gifs from geocities sites
• free online image editor - i used this to get a clean transparent background on some gifs i got off gifcities
• three.js examples - im using three.js on my homepage - these examples look complicated but they're fun to play with when i'm bored
• p5.js examples - im using p5.js for the snowfall/sparkle animations on my about page - fyi whenever theres code snippets in the p5 docs you can actually edit the code and run it
• WebAIM contrast checker - i use this tool to test any colors i pick for digital graphic design projects for color contrast
• web button maker - thanks incessantpain for this suggestion - used this to make my site button
• GifMaker.me - thanks atomicgothic for this suggestion - i used this to make gifs for part of my xmas page
• phaser.js tutorial - i haven't tried using phaser yet (javascript library for game dev) but this is a really good tutorial for setting up a web dev environment! only article i've seen that actually explains why you need to start a local dev server, and also compares some popular text editors / IDEs
• merch table - website to look up your spotify playlists and see if you can purchase any of the tracks directly on bandcamp! because f*ck streaming services and $upport your favorite artists!
• bitmapdreams - so much magic girl pixel art i might cry <3
• tenshiikisu's pixel collection - tons of cute graphics, might use some for my page designs
• likehome's website resources - bottom of the page has great list of places to find cool graphics
• guess my word - found this from gatosalchicha - fun and simple game, the word refreshes each day
• window swap - lowkey an inspiration for my xmas page. you look out a random window to somewhere else in the world, in both the digital and architectural sense. it's nice to look at and has a bit of organic white noise to put on in the background while i'm working.
• McMansion Hell - found this from watcher aka the tower - a fun blog that can be best described as if dark-hgtv (like dark-link) had a house hunters blog. it's fun to laugh at fugly mansions while learning a cool architecture term or two
